How Eye See It
Mike’s artistic practice is his vehicle to explore the enigma of the human experience. Whilst wandering the world for years, he found a universal language in art - a means to ascend communication barriers and connect cultural gaps.
He shares his perspectives in photographs. He examines emotions through abstract painting. He writes messages on walls.
Mike’s work identifies contrasting elements and builds a bridge between them. Inspired by the natural environment outside, interwoven with subconscious expression from the inside, his art encourages a viewer to slow down and look past the surface level.
Based in Oceanside, California, Mike runs a small business paintings murals and signs. He also works part-time for a fine art paints manufacturer. This year, Mike has been translating his ideas into ceramic vessels.
