From an ongoing 2022 series, Pink & Blhues - contrasting chaotic color hues with structured abstract forms.

Relatable to the human experience, this series is an exercise in releasing control, accepting circumstances and shifting to flow with the universe, rather than fight against it.

I made the Radiant concentrated watercolors in a lab while working as Color Chemist for Dr. Ph. Martin’s. In this series, my intent was to set the colors free onto paper showing off their range, translucency and blends. Then I used black ink to create forthright shapes floating within the beautiful mess.
