As much of my work is born, this piece began by accident. During the beginning of the 2020 lockdown, I was inside my room throwing ink onto a T-shirt, just to see what would happen. Some of it bled through onto this wood panel. So I used that vibrant chaos as a foundation to build structure upon.
Throughout this process (and the early part of lockdown in general) I explored the world inside of me. The quarantine kept us from going OUTside. But through painting, reading, and general self introspection, I was able to deeply explore much of the space withIN myself. Maybe that space looks something like this…
