Make a mess, guilt-free. Then make it beautiful.
Embrace the unexpected. Navigate your way through disorder to build your personal paradise. These concepts are the foundation of this expressive abstract, surreal painting process - a process that can be fruitful for ANYONE.
Your voyage will be guided by visual artist, realm explorer, and idea farmer- Mike Smack.
The canvas, paint and tools will be prepped to boogie with you. We’ll crack some cold ones, tell a few tales and then get to slangin’!
Full body motion, visceral actions are highly encouraged.
After throwing some paint around, the life-size canvas will be cut into pieces.
Each member of your squad can then manipulate their own slice to their liking. In the end, every participant will take home a 2’ x 2’ artwork on wood panel.
We’re not here to paint a puppy or copy Karen’s “Palm Trees at Sunset.”
You’re going to have some preconceptions…
… about what your artwork will look like. But it won’t turn out that way.
The work will, however, be a proud representation of your own specific endeavor- one in which you tore it all down, just to build it back up. And had fun doing it!
When that art is hanging on your wall at home, you’ll take pride and deep satisfaction in recalling how it came to be.
The cost for each session is $50 per person. This covers all the paint slangin’ materials and beverages for a group of up to 6 people.
The adventure will span 2-3 hours.
Only one person needs to register for the whole group. Please pay the total amount for your entire group upfront.
